2023 GMC Acadia Trim Levels

The 2023 GMC Acadia comes in four trim levels. These are the SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The trim level of the vehicle can affect what interior features you get, with the SLE version being the base version of the vehicle, and the Denali being the maximum trim level with more features and comforts. When you choose your trim level, it’s important to understand what features come with each one so you can get exactly what you want from your 2023 Acadia. Other than the features and some design elements, the trim level doesn’t affect the size of the vehicle.

Entertainment

The inside of the 2023 Acadia is packed with plenty of entertainment features for you and your passengers. This includes two power outlets so you can plug in and charge your devices. Each one also comes standard with USB ports so you can attach devices to the vehicle. For even more entertainment options, the vehicle is capable of producing a Wi-Fi hotspot that you can use while on the road, keeping you connected to the internet no matter where you drive. Finally, the Acadia has a six-speaker audio system on the SLE and an eight-speaker one for other trim levels.

Interior Dimensions

Regardless of which trim level you choose, you get the same amount of space inside the 2023 GMC Acadia. With seating for six or seven people depending on the trim level, the Acadia has plenty of space for your passengers and cargo for an SUV of its size. Here are its interior dimensions:

Interior Colors and Materials

The options you have for interior colors and materials depend on the trim level of your Acadia. Below are descriptions of the materials and colors for each trim level:

SLE

The standard material for the SLE trim level is premium cloth. For the colors, which only affect the cloth seating material, you can pick a jet-black color for both the primary and accent colors or a cocoa primary color and light ash gray accent color for the interior of your GMC Acadia.

SLT

The STL trim level’s standard option for materials is a perforated leather trim. This can come in either jet-black for both the accent and primary colors or a cocoa primary color paired with a light ash gray accent color, the same as the SLE but for the perforated leather interior of the SLT.

AT4

The colors for the AT4 interior are the same options as those for the SLE and SLT trim levels. For the materials, however, you get to choose between premium cloth or perforated leather, with the premium cloth interior being this trim level’s standard option. This gives you more flexibility with the interior design of your 2023 Acadia. This option gives you the most materials to choose from but is limited to the color options of the previous trim levels.

Denali

The Denali is the ultimate trim level for the 2023 Acadia. With this option, the standard material is perforated leather, which comes in the same color combinations as all the other trim levels plus you can choose a Denali exclusive design that features a dark galvanized gray primary color with a light shale gray accent. This option gives you the most choices for colors, but is limited to only the leather material.

Comfort

Inside the 2023 GMC Acadia, there are plenty of comfort features, especially at the higher trim levels. Standard across all trim levels are ten cupholders space throughout the vehicle so you can place drinks and water bottles securely while the vehicle is moving. The SLT, AT4, and Denali all have heated front driver and passenger seats, which is an optional feature for the SLE. You can also get heated rear outboard seats as an optional feature on the SLT and AT4, with this option being standard on the Denali.

Finally, the Denali comes standard with a memory system so it can adjust to your specific needs automatically. This is an optional feature for the SLT and AT4, and is unavailable on the SLE trim level.

Safety

All trim levels of the 2023 GMC Acadia come packed with standard safety features. These include a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, and front pedestrian braking. Further, the Acadia has front and rear parking assist technology, an HD rear vision camera, and a LATCH system for children’s seats. Finally, your Acadia comes with lane change alert, blind side monitoring, and lane keeping assist technology with a lane departure warning so you can remain safe as you drive in cities or on the highway. Established in 2016, Timber Pizza Company had its first location in Petworth, D.C. This pizzeria has four values it strives toward — fun, growth, quality, and community. If you’re in the market for a new pickup truck, there are plenty of reliable options available. Notably, you may consider the GMC Canyon, the GMC Sierra, and the Chevy Silverado. Upon first glance, you might lump all these pickup trucks in the same category. The truth is, they can each fulfill customers’ varying needs, so it’s important to understand their differences. Read on to learn about these three versatile pickup trucks and decide which is right for you.

Engine and Performance

Even though these vehicles may look different from one another, they have the similar performance under the surface. The 2023 Chevy Silverado, 2023 GMC Sierra, and 2023 Canyon come with a 2.7-liter turbocharged high-output engine as their standard engines. This engine delivers impressive power without sacrificing durability, as it produces up to 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. It can deliver torque on demand thanks to the unique dual-volute turbocharger that provides priority cooling and oiling for tough jobs.

While this is the standard engine, the engine options can vary depending on what trim level you get on each pickup. Another engine to consider, regardless of what vehicle you get, is a 5.3-liter Ecotec3 V-8 engine. The Chevy Silverado is unique in that it also offers customers the choice of a slightly larger Ecotec3 V-8 engine that’s 6.2 liters in size.

With the Silverado or the Sierra, you also have the option of a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine that comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This option isn’t present in the Canyon, so you may consider the Silverado or Sierra if you’re looking for a diesel-powered truck to welcome into your driveway.

As far as performance goes, all three vehicles have impressive handling capabilities. They provide a smooth driving experience and have varying degrees of off-road capabilities so drivers can tackle tough terrain. If you need to haul some items around with you, any of these trucks is suitable for the task. The 2023 Silverado can tow up to 13,300 pounds with the Duramax engine, while the 2023 Sierra follows closely behind with a towing capacity of 13,000 pounds. Even though the Canyon can only tow a maximum of 7,700 pounds, it’s still a monster vehicle that’s suitable for recreational towing needs.

Exterior

The Sierra, Silverado, and Canyon are all impressive trucks with rugged construction elements that are sure to tower over other vehicles. For example, the Sierra comes with the option of a monochromatic grille with gloss-black mesh inserts. This simple look is sleek and sophisticated, which is the perfect combination for standing out on the road. Other available exterior features with the Sierra include 33-inch all-terrain tires and dark nickel inserts.

One of the most notable exterior features of the Silverado is its variety of colors. While the Sierra and the Canyon are available in multiple colors, the Silverado may have the most diverse color lineup. The options for the 2023 model are Dark Ash Metallic, Red Hot, Northsky Blue Metallic, Sterling Gray Metallic, Harvest Bronze Metallic, Summit White, Black, Glacier Blue Metallic, and Sand Dune Metallic. Whether you’re looking for a neutral color to blend in or a bold color to stand out, you’ll likely find the shade you want with the Silverado’s options.

The Canyon is the smallest vehicle of the three, but it doesn’t hold back in looks. It has many exterior features that help it fill out its form. Some of the available exterior features include a winch by COMEUP, an off-road front bumper with a Safari Bar, and reconfigurable bed rails. We also love all the available tire options for the Canyon. For example, you can keep things simple with the 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels or gain some extra height with the 20-inch diamond-cut machined aluminum wheels.

Interior Features and Infotainment

The Silverado, Sierra, and Canyon all offer amazing infotainment and interior features to enhance your riding experience. For example, with higher trim levels of the Silverado, you can get real wood trim accents and leather seating surfaces. Plus, you can access an expansive 13.4-inch diagonal infotainment screen.

Take a peek inside the base trim of the Sierra, and you’ll find a 13.4-inch diagonal center touch screen and a 12.3-inch diagonal driver information center as standard features. Some luxurious interior perks include an available jet-black interior with Kalahari accents and heated and ventilated front seats.

Depending on the trim level you get for the Canyon, you can get an exclusive obsidian rush interior with ceramic white accents or a jet-black interior with teak accents. The infotainment screen in the Canyon is a bit smaller than it is in the other trucks, as it’s only 11.3 inches. However, it’s just as intuitive so you can make your desired selections for music, directions, and phone calls.

Safety Features

All three trucks have advanced safety features so you can feel comfortable and confident on whatever journey you take. For example, the Canyon offers 10 available camera views using rear and front underbody cameras. This way, you can gain a better view of what’s going on underneath and around your vehicle so you can maneuver it more easily. Also included are driver-focused screens so you don’t have to take your attention away from the road and a display screen that provides data on your off-road performance.

With the Sierra, you get access to a combined 40 inches of driver-focused digital display screens. You can remain confident and connected with the available GMC Pro Safety and GMC Connected Services. There are also 14 available camera views, including a front top-down view and a surround-view, to ensure you always know what’s going on near your vehicle.

Every Chevy vehicle comes with the Chevy Safety Assist package with no added costs, and the Silverado is no different. This standard package has six safety features, which include front pedestrian bBraking and forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking. In addition to these standard features, you can opt for additional safety technologies.

Now that you’re familiar with the differences between these three trucks, you may have a better idea of which one’s right for you. You can confirm your decision by viewing these vehicles in person at Koons Woodbridge Buick GMC. One of our sales agents will happily review the benefits of each vehicle and give you a detailed tour. You can also request a test drive to see how it feels to be behind the wheel of your target vehicle. Contact us to get in touch before your first visit so you can discuss service plans, financing options, and other details.

One of the best SUVs on the market today is the 2023 GMC Acadia. One great thing about the 2023 GMC Acadia is that there are several trim options available, making it easier to find one that fits your preferred balance between cost and features. To help you choose the right 2023 GMC Acadia trim, we’ll detail some of the features you can expect to find in each trim below.

2023 GMC Acadia SLE

Starting MSRP: $36,500

The base model of the 2023 GMC Acadia is the SLE. This is slightly different compared with previous years, where the base trim was called the SL. With this trim, you’ll get a turbocharged 2-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 228 horsepower. This pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive to deliver a smooth driving experience at every speed. All-wheel drive is also available as an upgrade if you want better control in tough driving situations.

The 2023 GMC Acadia SLE also comes with a host of standard features that make it an excellent base model. For starters, there’s an 8-inch infotainment system that connects to a six-speaker audio system. Through this infotainment system, you can easily connect your smartphone thanks to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrations. As for the safety features, some of the standard inclusions are blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and automatic emergency braking.

2023 GMC Acadia SLT

Starting MSRP: $39,600

The next step up is the 2023 GMC Acadia SLT. With this trim level, you’ll get more features that focus on comfort and entertainment. For example, in the SLT, you’ll get a premium Bose eight-speaker audio system, which replaces the standard six-speaker setup. On top of that, you’ll get a built-in navigation system that loads directly into the infotainment center.

As for comfort, expect upgrades such as leather upholstery and heated front seats. These front seats are also power adjustable, meaning you can find the perfect position for driving. There are also a few packages available with the Acadia SLT, which allow you to add specific features for an additional cost. For instance, you could add ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel, or you could add a surround view parking camera for better visibility when parking. Finally, you can add things such as a sunroof, a wireless device charging system, and rear-seat entertainment tech if you wish.

2023 GMC Acadia AT4

Starting MSRP: $41,900

Moving up from the 2023 GMC Acadia SLT, you’ll get the 2023 GMC Acadia AT4. This is one of the newer trim options available for the Acadia, having first been available in 2020. If you’re interested in the Acadia but wish it had a little more power, then this is the trim to consider. The AT4 replaces the standard powertrain and instead uses a 3.6-liter V-6 dual overhead cam engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, it comes standard with all-wheel drive and hill descent control, giving you more stability as you drive.

2023 GMC Acadia Denali

Starting MSRP: $47,100

Finally, there’s the 2023 GMC Acadia Denali. This is the trim to select if you want the absolute best Acadia possible. For starters, the Denali comes with the same powertrain as the AT4, giving you more power than the SLE and SLT trims offer. It has all the features available in the lower models plus some more. For instance, with the Denali, you’ll get the leather upholstery, heated rear seats, a head-up display, and wireless device charging as standard inclusions, whereas these features require additional packages in the lower trims.

But that’s not all. There are also packages available for the 2023 GMC Acadia that improve upon this already impressive vehicle. For example, there’s the Denali Technology package, which adds things such as adaptive cruise control and a surround view parking camera. Or you can get the Denali Ultimate package, which adds a sunroof. If you want the best performance and the ultimate driving experience from your Acadia, the Denali trim is the way to go.

Which 2023 GMC Acadia Is Right for You?

When it comes to selecting the right GMC Acadia for you, it all comes down to how you want to balance cost and features. If you’re looking for an SUV at a lower cost, you won’t be disappointed with the GMC Acadia SLE. Despite being the base model, and therefore the most affordable, it still comes loaded with premium features and provides powerful performance.

On the other hand, if you have a little more room in your budget and want the best driving experience, you’ll want to explore the 2023 GMC Acadia Denali. This has everything you could want in an SUV and more. Finally, if you fall somewhere between those two options, then there’s the 2023 GMC Acadia SLT or the AT4. You’ll want to explore each option in depth, including the available packages, to see which trim best suits your personal preferences when it comes to cost and features.

GM has confirmed that its future brands and vehicles will be all-electric by 2035 as the titan of the automotive industry continues to lead the way, contributing to the development of an emissions-free future. General Motors designs, engineers and produces electric vehicles (EVs) to create convenient and incredibly affordable options to suit every driver. Let’s take a closer look at General Motors’ future EV plans.

Strong Foundation to Drive EV Growth

The switch to electric vehicles takes time but brings many exciting developments that often surpass expectations. By 2030 and 2035, respectively, the firm intends to power all of its worldwide and domestic facilities exclusively with renewable energy, beating a previously stated target by five years. This shift will establish an appropriate, environmentally responsible position from which to expand electric vehicle production.

Under a $27 billion investment in electric and autonomous vehicles throughout that period, GM aims to release 30 new EVs globally. Additionally, it has previously stated that by 2030, it expects the vast majority, if not all, Cadillac cars and SUVs to be electric. The upcoming GM EV plans can be summed up as follows:

  • The 2023 Bolt releases at its biggest MSRP reduction yet, increasing its value prospect even more. It will also be the first Chevy vehicle to get GM’s Super Cruise hands-free, semiautonomous highway diving system.
  • Cadillac will unveil the LYRIC EV SUV and information on its production debut in April. It will be produced at GM’s Detroit-Hamtramck factory.
  • All GM-owned brands will produce all-electric vehicles only by 2035.
  • GM will be a carbon-neutral brand by 2040.

Super Cruise was previously only found on the GMC Hummer EV and Cadillac models such as the CT6 and Escalade SUV, so the inclusion of Chevy is a sign of further expansion. An electric concept car, the self-driving Cruise Origin taxi, is still undergoing testing.

Highlights of Upcoming Electric GM Vehicles

GM can create a variety of vehicles using a single modular architecture, including cars, crossovers, full-size trucks, and even self-driving automobiles. In the coming decade, most should be able to travel up to 300+ miles on a single charge, with shorter Level 1 and fast-charging times than ever. Some top-level vehicles can go from zero to 60 mph in only three seconds, and cars with incredible electric performance will continue to become more commonplace.

New cars, trucks, SUVs, and more from GM-owned brands will vary in power and price, to appeal to the vast range of needs people have in their vehicles. Some bring horsepower ratings as high as 1000, such as the Hummer EV, and you can find models in rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, or different styles of all-wheel drive to suit your needs. In short, GM plans to leave no blind spots when leading the way to an all-electric consumer automobile market.

Upcoming Chevy Models

With the release of the new, all-electric 2022 Bolt EUV together with the updated 2022 Bolt EV, Chevrolet has increased the range of electric vehicles it offers to consumers. Perhaps most notable for GM is that the Chevrolet Bolt electric utility vehicle (EUV) will be the first non-Cadillac vehicle to offer the Super Cruise mode.

The Chevrolet Silverado pickup will be built from the ground up as an EV, utilizing the Ultium battery platform’s greatest features and Silverado’s well-proven capabilities. Chevy will eventually release a midsize SUV for “clients looking for an electric choice in this sector.” All that GM had to say about that car was that it might be influenced by the newest Trailblazer.

Upcoming Buick Models

Due to its success in producing inexpensive, luxurious personal and family cars, Buick will concentrate on two new models that use Ultium technology. One will be a brand-new Buick SUV with a focus on optimizing internal space and freight and which has been referred to as a “more typical crossover.” The other will be a Buick crossover utility vehicle with a design somewhere between a crossover and a compact car.

Regarding these vehicles, GM claims that “there will be a stronger emphasis on form and athletic fashion, with more expressive proportion.” It’s uncertain if either vehicle will be sold in China, where Buick has recently enjoyed surprising success, but North American and European releases are certain.

Upcoming GMC Models

The Hummer EV pickup has much to celebrate, but GM also announced that we’ll see an electric Hummer SUV based on it around 2024. When we eventually do see the pickup, we will probably also get a decent look at upcoming GMC SUVs, which may share similarities. The GMC Hummer EV Pickup and GMC Hummer SUV will both provide a remarkable blend of zero-emission on-road driving performance and capability, boosted by a distinctive structure that encourages off-roading.

Upcoming Cadillac Models

Perhaps the most intriguing electric development tactics revolve around Cadillac. Plenty of people have been curious about Cadillac’s wider participation in electric vehicles, particularly whether any of their SUVs would make the shift. The company has announced that there will be five all-electric SUVs in the coming decade, with the LYRIQ coming first. The LYRIQ combines the Ultium battery platform with an edgy, futuristic sense of style. The Celtic model, which will have more than 100 3D-printed parts, will be Cadillac’s upcoming premium electric luxury sedan.

Additionally, according to GM, there will be a “luxury three-row SUV” with the Cadillac logo that focuses on interior capacity for both people and cargo. There is a chance it will be the next version of the XT6, or something similar. In addition, a Cadillac SUV EV aiming for “attainable luxury” will release in the coming years, in the style of the XT4 but slightly smaller. In addition to these details, we also know that the Escalade three-row SUV will soon get a brand-new version.

General Motors EVs: The Future Is Bright

GM is quickly gaining a competitive edge in electric vehicle manufacturing by putting effort into customer service, batteries, software, and affordable, sustainable electric vehicle integration. We admire GM’s commitment to an environmentally friendly automotive market and the years of exciting innovation and effort it will take.

Subcompact SUVs have become increasingly popular in the past few years for their ability to balance space and off-road capability. The Buick Encore and Encore GX are no exception, with both models boasting excellent performance, fuel economy, and safety ratings. In this article, we compare the 2023 Encore GX and the 2022 Encore to help you decide which model is right for you.

Overview

Unfortunately, 2022 is the last model year of the original Encore, but it’s still a good option for those looking for a reliable and stylish subcompact SUV. The Encore GX is a newer model introduced in 2019 and has enjoyed yearly releases since then. There are minimal changes in the 2023 Encore GX compared to its predecessors. What’s worth noting, however, is that a 1.2-liter engine is again available for this newest entry to the Encore GX lineup.

Exteriors

While the two models are visually similar, the 2023 GX is slightly larger than the 2022 Encore. It also has a longer wheelbase and a higher clearance. Both vehicles sport 18-inch aluminum wheels, but you can get the GX with exclusive wheels that feature distinct finishes and designs for a more stylish look. These models are also equipped with standard LED headlights and running daytime lights, and you may opt for roof rack rails for additional storage space. A custom grille, sport bumpers, and a black roof complemented by black mirrors and rails are available upgrades.

The 2022 Encore comes in six colors: White Frost Tricoat, Cinnabar Metallic, Dark Moon Blue Metallic, Summit White, Ebony Twilight Metallic, and Quicksilver Metallic. The 2023 Encore GX offers eight options. Your choices include the same Summit White, Cinnabar Metallic, Ebony Twilight Metallic, and White Frost Tricoat as the 2022 model. The GX adds Sapphire Metallic, Rosewood Metallic, Moonstone Gray Metallic, and Sunset Glow Metallic to the lineup.

Trim Levels

The 2022 Buick Encore only comes with the base Preferred trim level. You can choose between a front-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive configuration. The 2023 Encore GX, on the other hand, comes in three trims. These are Preferred, which is the base trim level, and Select and Essence. The latter two trims offer more safety and convenience features and better entertainment options and tech elements for a higher price.

Power and Performance

The 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with a six-speed automatic transmission powers the 2022 Encore. This engine produces 153 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration is respectable for a subcompact SUV, with Car and Driver stating that their test model reached 110 mph in 39.2 seconds from a stop. Its McPherson strut front and torsion beam rear suspension keep the ride smooth and comfortable. The fuel economy for the Encore is an EPA-estimated combined 26 and 27 mpg for the all-wheel and front-wheel-drive versions, respectively.

The GX Preferred and Select trims have a 1.2-liter turbo engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT), delivering 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The Essence trim has a 1.3-liter engine that produces 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. This engine, which you can also get for the Essence trim, is also mated to a CVT. The GX has an EPA-estimated combined fuel economy of 30 mpg and an acceleration time of 31.2 seconds to reach 100 mph, according to the tests performed by Car and Driver.

Interiors

The Encore features a stylish and functional interior. Its armrests and dash pad are soft-touch, and the flush-mounted touch screen and jewel-colored accents add a touch of elegance. One highlight is the layout of the front seat, with its straightforward controls, high bolstering, and adjustable headrests that provide an excellent level of comfort. You can take advantage of Buick’s Interior Protection Package, which includes all-weather floor mats and a carpeted cargo mat, to keep the interior of your Encore in tip-top shape.

The Encore GX also has a spacious and comfortable cabin with a few added features. All trims sport a leather-wrapped steering wheel, satin silver and chrome shift knob, and interior lighting that give the vehicle an upscale feel. There are numerous comfort and convenience features that are either standard or available depending on the trim you choose, such as:

  • A 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
  • An eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat.
  • An all-weather cargo mat, floor mats, and liners.
  • Single- or dual-zone climate control.
  • Heated and ventilated front seats.
  • Leather seat trims.
  • A sport pedal kit.

Infotainment and Connectivity Features

Both the 2022 Encore and the 2023 Encore GX come with a wealth of technologies that make the driving experience even better. Standard features for the 2022 Encore include a 7-inch touch screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, and a six-speaker sound system. Also available are a power outlet, Wi-Fi hotspot, and remote start for added convenience. A three-year OnStar and Buick Connected Services subscription is also included, as well as a complimentary three-month SiriusXM satellite radio subscription.

The latest GX model has the standard elements of the 2022 Encore, plus additional or upgraded technology that’s available depending on the trim you choose. This includes an 8-inch touch screen, 4.2-inch instrument cluster display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, built-in navigation, and wireless charging. Other tech features include a rearview camera mirror, adaptive cruise control, and a head-up display for the driver.

Safety

The 2022 Encore and the 2023 GX come standard with a suite of safety features that offer extra protection while on the road. These include automatic emergency braking, a following distance indicator, tire pressure monitoring, stability and traction control, and a rear vision camera. Some features are standard to higher GX trims or optional to base trims, such as lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and forward collision warning. All these are designed to help you monitor your surroundings and stay aware of potential hazards.

Both vehicles offer a great combination of style, comfort, technology, and safety. They’re exceptional subcompact SUVs that cater to different needs. The GX is perfect for those looking for more luxury in their ride, while the Encore offers a more affordable option with impressive performance and efficient fuel economy. The roof rails on the Buick Encore are extremely functional, whether you want to load additional luggage on top of the car or are traveling with a pack of kayaks. The premium LED lights also allow the car to stand out and offer increased visibility on the road at night. During the day, the lights allow the vehicle to be easier for other drivers to spot.

The grille looks even more detailed and intricate than past models but allows the Buick Encore to be easy to recognize. The shape of the body causes the compact SUV crossover to have a wide and athletic stance at all times. One of the main features that stand out on the body are the dramatic tail lights, which are more edgy and bold to draw attention to the rear of the car.
