The second engine, available on the SLE all-wheel-drive and SLT, is a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder providing 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine gets the same 21 mpg as the first in the city and reaches 28 mpg on the open road. The final engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 generating 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. This one gets 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highways and is available on the SLT, SLT, AT4, and Denali.
The AT4 and the Denali are a cut above the rest regarding capability and features. The AT4 can tow up to 4,000 pounds and haul up to 1,695 pounds. The MacPherson Strut multi-link suspension system on the AT4 makes it ideal for off-roading. The Denali comes with a crystal-clear Bose premium sound system that includes eight speakers and a sub-woofer.
Its active noise cancellation system and excellent cabin insulation make it the perfect choice for those wanting to convert their vehicle into a mobile music hall during each commute. This Acadia is available with a forward collision alert and automatic emergency braking system.
The 2018 GMC Sierra 1500
The 2018 Sierra 1500 is the working man's GMC truck and comes in the Sierra, SLE, SLT, and Denali trim levels. It can tow a maximum of 12,500 pounds, making it capable of towing large trailers, campers, and boats. This truck has four engine options: a 4.3-liter V-6, a 5.3-liter V-8, a 6.2-liter V-8, and a 5.3-liter V-8 mild hybrid. They generate 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque, 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, and 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, respectively.
Both 5.3-liter engines have the same horsepower and torque ratings. This truck's leather-appointed bucket seats are heated and 12-way power adjustable with memory settings, so you'll be comfortable out on the road. Its 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system is larger than most in its class. It comes with SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and you can upgrade it with a six- or seven-speaker Bose sound system with a subwoofer. This Sierra comes with a Stabilitrak stability control system featuring proactive roll avoidance programming, trailer sway control, and hill start assistance.
The 2018 Buick Encore
The 2018 Buick Encore is a great compact SUV for suburban driving. It comes in the Base, Preferred, Sport Touring, Preferred II, and Premium trim levels and is available with front- or all-wheel drive. Two engines are available to power this Encore. The first is a 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged version that grants 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, while the second is a direct port injection version of the same size providing 153 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Its six-speaker sound system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and 4G LTE Buick Wi-Fi make it the perfect vehicle for a long commute.
